Yanran from Bristol started playing the piano in 2020 when she was just five and a half years old and learned to read music before reading her storybooks.
Since then, she has passed her high school exams, won a competition, taught herself to compose, and taken up the violin.
Her father, Yuxing, a senior research scientist at an aerospace company, and her mother, Huamei, have no musical background and are amazed at their progress.
