A teacher crossed the Bristol Channel on a paddleboard to raise money for the special school where she teaches.
Kerry Baker is a teacher at Ysgol Y Deri in Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan, the UK’s largest special needs school.
She said she plans to spend the money on “improving and improving” the outdoor learning environment.
On her 13 mile journey home, Kerry paddled back to Barry Island from Weston-super-Mare in North Somerset.
“Hopefully I’ve done Barry proud and we can show how beautiful this part of Wales is,” she said.
