A GCSE-equivalent course on climate change “makes you want to work harder” to minimize your impact, says one student.
Courtney-Ann, who studies at St Colm’s High School in Dunmurry, County Antrim, said she’s aware that things like how long she leaves the heat or the lights on at home can make a difference in everyday life.
“It’s just the small things you can do to change a big part of the world,” she said.
In the course, the students learn about biodiversity, climate protection and fast fashion.
The first cohort is now halfway through their studies.
