Helena Christensen’s son, Mingus Reedus, lands plea deal for conspicuous wife

Mingus Reedus, the son of supermodel Helena Christensen and The walking Dead Star Norman Reedus, has filed a lawsuit after being accused of hitting a woman in the face.

The 22-year-old model was initially accused of abusing a 24-year-old woman he did not know while attending the New York City San Gennaro Festival in September 2021.

According to them New York Post, Mingus Reedus pleaded guilty Wednesday in Manhattan Criminal Court. The prosecution is classified as a violation, which is less than an abuse, in New York City.

Assistant District Attorney Elaine Ortyl said the victim in the case expressed a desire to “take more accountability” to Mingus Reedus than the plea that was offered.

“I would like my client to take less responsibility, but that’s the nature of the negotiations,” Mingus Reedus’ lawyer Isabelle Kirshner said at the hearing.

As a result of his plea, the defendant received an unconditional dismissal, which required him to stay out of trouble for a year. He must also attend at least five advisory sessions.

Back in September 2021, Mingus Reedus took over New York Daily News that he was walking with his girlfriend and two friends at the street party in Little Italy when the complaints and some friends came across his group.

“We did not think about it, but these five girls followed our two blocks, threw food at us and yelled,” he said. “We told them to leave us alone, but they always followed, and threatened to hurt my girlfriend and her boyfriend. It was very obvious that these girls were under the influence and were looking for a fight.”

He said that as the group “swarmed” him, pulled his hair and threw water in his face, he accidentally hit one of the women as he “threw” [his] arm eraus. “

“It was instinct,” he explains at the moment. “I reacted to the fact that they swarmed me and were afraid for the safety of my group.”

“Ten seconds later, the police are involved,” Mingus Reedus said. “The police saw that one of the girls was injured and refused to listen to the context. My intention for that day was to take care of my own business and play fair games.”

The woman was taken to New York Presbyterian / Lower Manhattan Hospital with a cut under her left eye, according to the New York Police Department.

Mingus Reedus, whose parents are no longer together, modeled for Calvin Klein and appeared on the cover of Vogue Men last year. He also appeared next to his mother last year in a Victoria’s Secret Mother’s Day campaign.

In an interview with fashion magazine The Officialpublished in April 2021, Denmark-born Christensen spoke about her close relationship with her son.

“When you have a child, it’s like filling a bottle with all the pure love, strength, hope and trust you can, because when you leave them in their own lives, they have that bottle for the rest full of her life, ”she said.

“My son means a lot to me,” Christensen said. “You can teach your kids a lot as they grow, but all of a sudden the dynamic changes and the next thing that happens is that you listen to them and you see yourself through their eyes and that’s a really amazing experience.”
