Super Scott! LEGO has unveiled a Back to the Future set and we can not wait to open the engines for December 4th, 1985.
Wait a minute Doc, did you tell me that LEGO built a time machine? Good, Aart.
The Danish toy company has redesigned one of the most iconic cars of all time: the popular time travel Delorean.
Here’s what’s new Brick into the future sit and do not worry, unlike the original, you do not need 1.21 gigawatts to open it.

Fans of cult classics can build the LEGO Back to the Future Time Machine for themselves, just like Doc Brown.
Builders can choose to create the car from the first, second or third movie.
The set also comes complete with a light flux capacitor, a box of plutonium, Marty’s hoverboard and LEGO minifigure versions of Doc Brown and Marty McFly.

“Universal, Amblin Entertainment and Back to the Future Filmmakers are pleased to partner with the LEGO team in the creation of this fantastic kit,” said Bob Gale, co-writer and co-producer of the trilogy.
Mr Gale added: “In the film, Doc Brown spent almost 30 years and his entire family assets building his Time Machine. Fortunately, you can build this LEGO model in significantly less time and at much less cost – even though your finished version not able to travel through time!
It has been faithfully redesigned with details from the film trilogy including wheels that fold out for flight mode and time travel when you are at 88 miles per hour!

The Delorean lineup includes a light-year flux capacitor, printed dashboard dates, opening gold-wing doors and hood and many more Easter eggs.
You can even find a banana and tin box to strengthen Mr. Fusion’s device as seen on the vehicle, as at the end of the first movie.
Sven Franic, LEGO Set Designer commented: “Since its release in 1985, Back to the Future has continued to be a cult film and a favorite for generations of fans around the world – including myself. I had so much fun sharing my favorite moments from all three films. relive this exciting and nostalgic design adventure.
“The shared timelessness of LEGO bricks in the Back to the Future franchise is something we really wanted to capture for this set, so we hope fans enjoy running through time in the LEGO style.”
The Back To The Future Set costs £ 149.99 and will be available for purchase via the LEGO website from April 1st.

To celebrate the start, the LEGO group brought Doc and Marty back for another mission in their own animated short film.
The animated adventure sees the unencrypted LEGO minifigures duo travel through time trying to fix the time machine.
They take Doc and Marty back on a further mission in the new “Brick to the Future” animated short.
LEGO is back to where it all started – the famous backlot at Universal Studios Hollywood – where Back to the Future was filmed to see the three LEGO models alongside the original DeLorean Time Machine as in the movies.

LEGO Back to the Future London Start Event
If no one calls you chicken, be one of the first to get their hands on the Time Machine, a special themed event in London.
Roads? Wherever you go, you need them – the launch takes place at the LEGO Store Leicester Square.
You get the chance to pose for a real-life DeLorean photo outside the store, stare at your own iconic Back to the Future movie poster, and print a photo to share with friends.
There’s even a chance for some lucky fans to meet LEGO designer Sven Franic and get their set signed.
