The game was stopped during the Everton and Newcastle Premier League match on Thursday after protesters tied themselves to a goal.
An individual came to the field shortly after halftime at Goodison Park and attached himself to the woodwork, forcing a staff intervention to clear it.
The individual wore a shirt for the protest group Just Stop Oil, and then saw her thoughts posted in a prepared statement on social media.

What did the Protestant say?
In a thread posted on Just Stop Oil’s social media, the individual who linked to the post laid out his reason for it, saying, “It’s 2022 and it’s time to look up, time to climb up and not to. “It’s time to act. It’s an emergency.”
“Report after report tells me that my future will be terrible, and my government tells me not to worry and pay a pension.
“But we have a choice. We can choose to emphasize that our climate is breaking, we can choose to resist this government that betrays us, we can choose to stand up and not stand up.”
Is this an isolated incident?
It is the second time this week that a protester on behalf of Just Stop Oil has been involved in a match.
An individual tried to stick to the post during Liverpool’s win over Arsenal on Wednesday.
