Hawley said the president was preparing to free Russia from Ukraine&#8217;s sanctions and remove Iran&#8217;s Revolutionary Guards from the US list of &#8220;foreign terrorist organizations&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Hawley, an opponent of the 2015 nuclear deal that Iran and the world powers are working to revive, said the United States should not buy Iranian oil if sanctions are eased. <strong>&#8220;I think the idea that we would<\/strong> Getting energy from the Iranians &#8211; even indirectly &#8211; is insane, &#8220;he said.&#8221; What the president needs to do is open up our own energy production. &#8220;<\/p>\n<p>About a provision in the new deal that will allow Russia to get billions of dollars to build reactors in the Bushehr nuclear plant, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/IranIntl_En\/status\/1506413312350826496\"><strong>Hawley said, &#8220;Oh God! That sounds awful<\/strong><\/a>.  It couldn&#8217;t get any worse.  It just couldn&#8217;t get any worse. &#8220;<\/p>\n<p>Hawley said the re-enactment of the 2015 deal, which Trump left in 2018 and called for an expansion in Iran&#8217;s nuclear program, typical of Biden&#8217;s approach: &#8220;With all due respect, the president is the guy who managed two to lose sovereign nations in six months: Afghanistan, debacle in Ukraine, and now he is out and trying to find ways to enable Iran.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;What is he doing? [Biden] wants? &#8220;Hawley asked, adding,&#8221; What&#8217;s next?
