Airbnb should let its employees work from anywhere for as long as they want, the accommodation platform says.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Employees will be able to work from home or the office and move anywhere in the country they live without their pay being affected, the company said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The move contrasts with companies like Google in the US, where employees working from home may see a pay cut.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Other tech companies that have flexible working policies include Cisco and Microsoft.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky emailed employees Thursday detailing the new flexible working policy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

He predicted that flexible working would be the norm for many people in 10 years.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

“If we limited our talent pool to a commute radius from our offices, we would be at a significant disadvantage,” he said. “The best people live everywhere, not concentrated in one area.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
