Revolut’s global banking app has crashed for some customers due to a “technical issue”.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Users of the app took to Twitter to voice their concerns as the company’s website showed reports of hundreds of outages since Monday morning.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Revolut said it was sorry some customers were experiencing issues and was working to fix the issue.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The London-based company is one of the most popular new start-ups challenging the traditional banking industry.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

“This is a technical issue that we are working to resolve as soon as possible,” Revolut said in a statement. “We apologize for the inconvenience.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The website of the digital banking service notes that there have been issues with users being unable to log into the app and also unable to exchange currencies. The company said the issue could also affect the numbers that appear in people’s account balances.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cWe had some technical issues with our app today that impacted some of our customers. We can confirm that all our customers’ money and data are safe,” the company said in a statement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“We’ve been working to fix it since it was flagged this morning and expect it to be fixed very soon.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

“Our app and services remain operational for the majority of our customers and we apologize to all those affected and for the inconvenience caused.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
