Lego, the Danish toy giant, has announced it will indefinitely suspend operations in Russia due to “ongoing widespread disruptions”.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The company stopped shipping products to Russia in March after the invasion of Ukraine, but its stores stayed open as most competing retailers pulled out.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Lego said it will now end its partnership with Inventive Retail Group, which operates 81 stores on behalf of Lego. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine for withdrawal from Russia was not mentioned.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A spokeswoman for Lego said: “When the Lego Group stopped deliveries to Russia in early March, we also stopped all commercial activities and put almost all of our employees on extended vacation.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
