Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will address British MPs via video link on Tuesday, the Speaker of the House of Commons has announced.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Sir Lindsay Hoyle said he was delighted to grant Mr Zelensky’s “historic” request, with the address taking place at 17:00 GMT. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The speech will be shown on screens installed in the hall. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Also, more than 500 headphones will be provided to broadcast an English translation of his statement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Sir Lindsay said: “Every MP wants to hear directly from the President, who will be speaking to us live from Ukraine, so this is an important opportunity for the House.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    “Thank you again to our incredible staff for working so quickly to make this historic address possible.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
