Catherine, Princess of Wales said early childhood education was “vital” when she attended a nursery school in Luton.<\/p>\n

She joined children, caregivers and parents at Foxcubs Nursery to highlight the importance of children’s early childhood development.<\/p>\n

Catherine spent time with the three and four-year-olds making face masks and described the children as “amazing”.<\/p>\n

Neil Leitch, of the Early Years Alliance, which runs the nursery, said the princess was “very understanding that these are critical years in shaping a child’s future”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The heir to the throne’s wife also joined a group of children playing in a sandbox and spoke to staff about the impact of the Covid pandemic lockdown.\n<\/p>\n

She said to them, “I think families have been realized and communities have been realized, [when] Those rooms were closed most of the time, I think everyone realized how important they were.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

During the visit, a group of parents discussed with the princess the role of the kindergarten in supporting the children before they were sent home.<\/p>\n

She said the staff had “taken care of them in a school setting for a long time, but had that relationship with the parents, helping them at home and passing the baton to them, so that the kid actually feels like there when the kid goes to.” comes home is a holistic service”.<\/p>\n

The Early Years Alliance offers 70 places for local children between the ages of two and five, including Foxcubs, which has been rated Excellent by Ofsted.<\/p>\n

Mr. Leitch, Allianz chief executive, said after the visit: “I think she was impressed with our work in general and the fact that it’s about supporting both the community and children.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
