Anne-Marie Green is an anchor for CBS News NetworkCBS News’ leading 24/7 streaming news service and CBS News correspondent who contributes to all CBS News broadcasts and platforms.
Green joined CBS News in January 2013.
Previously, Green served as a general affairs reporter for CBS 3 in Philadelphia. He reported for both CBS 3 and The CW Philly, and co-hosted CBS Weekend Morning News. While on CBS 3 and The CW Philly, Green covered a variety of local and national stories, including the 2006 Amish School shooting in the Nickel Mines, Pennsylvania community, the 2007 Minneapolis Bridge collapse, Super Bowl XXXIX, and the 2008 and 2009 World Series.
She received the Doris Haire Award in 2007 for her report on growing concern about the high number of caesareans being performed in New Jersey and a Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award in 2011 for covering a fatal duck in the Schuylkill River. .
Prior to moving to Philadelphia in 2004, Green was a reporter for CITY-TV in Toronto and a presenter for Cable Pulse 24, a broadcast on the station’s 24-hour cable news service. Previously, she was a reporter for CKVR-TV in Barrie, Ontario and Rogers Cable News in Mississauga, Ontario.
Green is a native of Toronto and graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in English. He also has a postgraduate degree in journalism from Humber College.
