3.6 Earthquake hits Corralitos

A magnitude 3.6 earthquake shook Corralitos on Saturday morning, according to the US Geological Survey.

The quake, at 9:59 a.m., was along Green Valley Road about a mile west of Hazel Dell Road – near the San Andreas Fault. A preliminary estimate of 3.9 has been revised by the USGS.

Reports to the USGS indicated that the quake was felt from Marin County to Monterey, also along the peninsula and across the South Bay.
