Four US Marines are officially missing, and probably dead, after a plane crash during a NATO exercise in Norway.

“Four Marines assigned to the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, II Marine Expeditionary Force are currently listed in Duty Status Whereabouts Unknown following an aviation incident with an MV-22B Osprey during a training mission in support of Exercise Cold Response 2022 at Bodo,” Norway, “1. Lt. Jacob Sugg of the Marines said Saturday in an email to The Post.

Friday’s training mission crash is under investigation by US and Norwegian authorities.

Service members will not be publicly identified until 24 hours after neighboring countries have been notified, Sugg said.

The annual NATO exercises include approximately 30,000 troops, 220 aircraft and 50 ships from 27 countries.

Exercises began last week and ended on April 1st. Norway said that Cold Response “will continue as planned, with the measures we will have to take due to the weather.”
