According to The Hollywood Reporter, its company Bad Robot Productions is currently in the process of developing a scripted biographical series, centered on the legendary rock group. It will be produced by Warner Bros. Television for Netflix.

Encore without title, this series U2 Will be written by author Anthony McCarten, who recently wrote bohemian Rhapsody (in 2018), the biopic dedicated to Queen. He’s currently training to be with those on Whitney Houston, titled I want to dance with someone.
U2 should also be involved in this project that has just begun its development. We hated to find out who would include the young Bono, who formed the band in 1976, in Ireland, with guitarist Edge, bassist Adam Clayton and drummer Larry Mullen Jr.
