Louise Thompson feared that she would be “judged” because she chose not to breastfeed her baby boy after her traumatic birth.

Made In Chelsea star, 31, was diagnosed with PTSD after suffering complications while her first child, Leo-Hunter, with her partner Ryan Libbey, was born in November 2021.

After the devastating challenge, Louise expressed her hope to be on the recovery since her baby was 15 weeks old last month, but in her latest Instagram post, she explained that she removed babies from Instagram shots to avoid any harm. Setback.

“I think it’s important to emphasize these kinds of experiences in an attempt to break the stigma associated with bottle feeding and other challenges that new parents pose,” she wrote next to a photo of her bottle feeding her son.

Louise recalled that doctors encouraged her to stop breastfeeding after her first surgery, but at the time she was taking many medications that made her feel “grumpy”.

She added to her 1.4 million followers: “I was too ashamed to say no, so I kept going. Then I experienced excruciating pain as my damaged uterus contracted (and bled), but I was told to keep going.

“The funny thing is that I was really, really good. Leo was amazing at clapping and I had a lot of milk, and even though it was nice to tie something to it, it just did not feel right.

‘It turns out, in any case, that I knew my body quite well, because the pain was exposed as serious and I ended up in the intensive care unit, where I lost my milk anyway. Sometimes people have to accept that we know our own bodies best.
