Royal Blood shares to Single Honeybrains
The pop-rock duo – consisting of Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher – gave fans a taste of what they were working on before their “Typhoons” tour, which kicks off on March 19 at the brand new Swansea Arena in South Wales. .
They announced on Instagram: “Instead of sitting on new music, waiting until it gets old, we thought it would be fun to share with you what we’ve been working on in recent weeks before embarking on our biggest tour to date! It’s as new to us as it is to you. Get it. ”
Royal Blood released their third album, ‘Typhoons’, in April 2021, after working through a lot of lockdown.
Meanwhile, Ben recently admitted that the couple want to play a drama gig at Brighton and Hove Albion Stadium.
The ‘Trouble’s Coming’ hitmakers – who formed in the East Sussex Coast resort – love to play home shows and drummer Ben thinks the stage at the American Express Community Stadium would be really special as a fan of the football club.
He said: “The obvious one for me is the Amex. For obvious reasons, it’s a big, big place.
“The beach would be like a fantastic thing that would be fun. With those places, there is a lot of organization that has to go into those things and it can also be very expensive.
“While you have the Brighton Center, which is already set up and is the largest place around.
“We also like to play The Dome, which is one of my favorite places to watch other bands. But the extra fans want to get in.”
