BBC The Apprentice star ‘banished from the finals’ – and two others will not appear either

A star of the hit BBC series The Apprentice has been reportedly banned from appearing on his latest spin-off show after complaining about Lord Sugar. Amy Anzel will not be appearing on You’re Hired, who are fighting right after Kathryn Burn and Harpreet Kaur to become Lord Sugar’s next business partner on Thursday night.

Navid Sole and Harry Mahmood were also missing in the You’re Hired Finals. It comes after it was reported that they had a heated exchange with ex-RAF man Aaron Willis. Amy, Navid and Harry will all return to help Kathryn and Harpreet on a final mission, but will not appear in the spin-off show.

Amy was reportedly banned by the show’s boss, The Sun reports. It came after she allegedly complained that Lord Sugar had posted “offensive” tweets about her.

A tweet from the business mogul read: “Amy did not sell, she was so slow. Slower than broadband Wi-Fi in Cornwall. Amy said she needed therapy after filming the show.

A friend told the newspaper Amy thought her fire in week six was unjustified. Lord Sugar said he fired her because she had not appeared on the record to become the project manager. Her friend said the program “failed to show that she was up for it in the second week”.

They added: “When Lord Sugar posted his tweets, she thought they were mean, hurtful and insulting and told them so in an email.”

“She knew the last recording happened last Wednesday, but she ignored her phone call and emails again. Then Amy received an email saying that invitations were issued at her discretion.
