Countdown to TradeCentre Toronto Maple Leafs Travis Dermott

There is a strong expectation that Toronto Maple Leafs defenders Travis Dermott could be traded before Monday’s deadline, TSN hockey insider Chris Johnston reported Saturday.

Carolina Hurricanes

The Carolina Hurricanes have informed teams that they will not exchange their 2023 first-round pick for a rental player, according to TSN hockey insider Pierre LeBrun.

Carolina is currently second in the Eastern Conference with 88 points, second only to the Florida Panthers. Philadelphia Flyers

According to TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun, the Flyers continue to “grind” on a trade for Star Forward Claude Giroux. LeBrun notes that some progress has been made on Friday, but they are still not where they need to be in order to get a deal with a team.

The 34-year-old has 18 goals and 24 assists over 57 games with the Flyers this season, his 15th on the team.


Los Angeles Kings

According to TSN Hockey insider Darren Dreger, the injury of the Kings veteran defender Drew Doughty is “more significant” than expected, as the 32-year-old could miss more time than expected, which could affect LA’s positioning with the trading deadline just around the corner.

This may or may not affect the LA Kings’ positioning with the trading deadline, however, sources say Drew DoughtyThe injury is more significant than expected and he could miss more time than the Kings originally feared.

Doughty was put in the injured reserve on March 13 with a thigh injury. Born in London, Ont., Who has spent his entire 14-year career with the Kings, has seven goals and 24 assists over 39 games this season.


Nashville Predators

Forsberg spent his 10-year career in Nashville, scoring 32 goals and 24 assists over 48 games this season. He is in the final year of a six-year, $ 36 million contract.


Chicago Blackhawks

LeBrun says there has not been much talk about the veteran goalkeeper Marc-Andre Fleury of the Blackhawks.

There have been some “general inquiries” about potential deals, but nothing serious.
