Leona Lewis and her husband Dennis Jauch are expecting their first child, according to reports.
Sources claim that the Bleeding Love singer, 36, passed the 12-week milestone and expects to confirm the news later this month.
“Leona and Dennis are absolutely over the moon,” an insider told The Sun.
“They passed the 12-week milestone and told their family and friends at the beginning of the year.
“They can not wait to welcome their new arrival and become a family of three,” they added.
The songwriter – who rose to fame after winning Series 3 of the X Factor – married the creative director in Italy in 2019 after nine years together.
The couple met in 2010, when he was working as a backing dancer, and announced their engagement in November 2018, writing in an Instagram post: “I can not wait to be your wife.”
Leona said Hello! ‘We are so ready to do this. Dennis is the kindest, most careful person I have ever met.
“He was my rock through my crazy ups and downs and everything I’ve experienced in my life.”
In 2020, Happy Hitmaker expressed their desire to start a family with Dennis and consider adopting a child.
“My mother grew up in an orphanage, no one adopted her as a child, and I would very much like to adopt her,” she told Stella magazine.
Leona added: “I’m still finding out. If it had been up to my husband, we would have had children yesterday.”
During the height of the coronavirus pandemic, Leona and Dennis just moved into their new home on a California ranch.
Since auditioning for the talent series – which was scrapped in 2021 after 17 years – Leona has gone on to become the show’s second-best-selling act, selling over 30 million records worldwide.
