Paris Saint-Germain Shortlist Salah as Mbappe replacement

Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain’s PSG squad to replace Kylian Mbappe.

With his contract signed after this season, Mbappe is expected to leave the French capital on a free transfer to join Real Madrid this summer.

PSG have started looking for a replacement and have identified a number of targets, including Salah.

Egypt have yet to sign a new contract with Liverpool, with negotiations halted in recent months.

Even though the team’s biggest star is leading them on a few trophies and breaking records left and right along the way, the Reds refuse Salah’s financial demands.

The 25-year-old is asking for a sum of around £ 300,000 and £ 400,000 in weekly salary, which would force her to exceed her very strict salary limit.

Many clubs around Europe are therefore looking to take advantage of the strained relationship between the two parties to reach the double Golden Boot winner this summer.

One of these clubs is believed to be PSG according to Le10Sport. According to the French website, Salah is among 10 players PSG would be interested in signing to replace Mbappe.

However, he is not the club’s priority, their main targets being Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland, who’s on Manchester City’s radar, and Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski.
