Barcelona boss Xavi is facing a crucial call over starting veteran star Dani Alves on tomorrow’s El Clasico trip to Real Madrid.
Xavi is expected to keep up with most of his starting line-up of La Blaugrana’s 2-1 midweek Europa League victory over Galatasaray.
However, Alves was not in Turkey due to his ineligibility in European competition, and Sergino Dest’s injury makes him an immediate option to fill in the right back.

Alves was used sparingly by Xavi after his return to Camp Nou in January and the alternative is to play central defender Ronald Araujo from the position against Los Blancos.
Spanish U21 international Nico Gonzalez is also back in the squad, following a national ban, but he is expected to remain on the bench.
Xavi’s other big call comes in the attack with Adama Traore and Memphis Depay, both fighting for the third attacking plate for the visitors in Madrid.
