TOYOTA QUOTE
KURT BUSCH, No. 45 Monster Energy Toyota Camry TRD, 23XI Racing
Finishing position: 3rd
How different was it for you today?
“We were on another planet today with the design and the way the cars drove. Wow. I caught the air of the second round. I had to stop to not hit the rev chip. I just had one. bit too much damage not to be on insult, and then we just tried to drive around and pick up our poison so to speak with Monster Energy Toyota. We were not on insult, so if you are not in insult, you have to drive a little and wait until the holes open and I’ve got a top five again. Lots of sarcasm here. We know we need to get better at handling some of our racing skills, but another top five – we’ll take it.
CHRISTOPHER BELL, No. 20 DeWalt Toyota Camry TRD, Joe Gibbs Racing
Finishing position: 23rd
NASCAR has decided to move you to the end of the lead round after the last round. Can you explain it from your seat?
“I do not know. I did not see a replay or anything, but I saw a hole in there and tried to take it and we came together. I know he came down, whether or not – it’s somehow what it is. “DeWalt Camry was extremely fast today. We were pretty fast all year, just did not have the results to show it. Just have to keep digging.”
DENNY HAMLIN, No. 11 FedEx Ground Toyota Camry TRD, Joe Gibbs Racing
Finishing position: 29: an
Can you summarize how the race was outside?
“We had a really fast FedEx Camry. I was just trying to help Kyle (Larson) there and I just had to let him go the four fours. The track gets light there, the car starts to pick up and that’s it. where I had to pull back from him and I just did not do it and spun him out. It’s a shame. Our car was really fast. We definitely slowed down after the first part of the damage – we were involved in that first wreck. Overall, just frustrating , but we’re doing well, we’re just done awful. I’m just making some bad decisions. fight and we have good grip, and I push him, and everything goes well and then all of a sudden the car picks up and leaves.Just split-second decision.
