Thirteen freight cars and three locomotives were wrecked Monday in the San Bernardino County community of Colton.
An entrepreneur who helped with the cleaning, was injured in the rejection on 5th and K streets. Details about the victim’s condition were not immediately available.
A spokesman for the Union Pacific Railroad said one of the cars burned briefly. The flames were quickly extinguished.
A cause was not immediately identified.
