Mark Giordano is returning to Canada. The Maple Leafs of Toronto have made the acquisition of the 38-year-old.
According to Chris Johnston TSN, the Leafs also mett the main on the forward Colin Blackwell. In return, Toronto sent two 2nd round picks and a 3rd round picks to Seattle.

Pierre LeBrun adds that Kraken will receive 50% of Giordano’s $ 6.75 million salary. It marks the last year of a six-year contract.
Seattle retains 50 percent on Giordano’s cap hit and pay.

After 15 seasons with the Flames of Calgary, Giordano joined the Kraken of Seattle in 2021 during the expansion.
Since then, he has scored six goals and 23 points and 55 matches this season.
