McDonald’s returns cult favorite sauces only for a limited time

Fans of McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets are in for a treat – the return of the cult favorite Szechuan Sauce.

The Chicago-based fast food giant has announced that customers will have the option to order the special sauces for free in addition to ordering nuggets through its app starting March 31st.

But lovers of dip, which is a mixture of soy, garlic, ginger and soft vinegar, must hurry, as it is only available for a limited time.

Customers will also have the option to purchase five sauces à la carte.

This is only the fourth time in the last 24 years that McDonald’s has been offering customers its Sichuan Zoos.

The enthusiastic dip was first released in 1998 as part of a promotional tie-in for the Disney flick “Mulan” and is back in the Golden Arches in very limited supply for one day only in October 2017.

The fanfare around the sauce was so intense that some customers paid up to $ 10 a pack for the stuff. One man even traded his Volkswagen to get hold of the condiment.

When McDonald’s came out of the sauce, it faced an angry backlash from serious customers who threatened to sue.

A fast food fanatic has even claimed to have paid $ 14,700 on eBay for the abolished dipping sauce.
