MUSIC – Will Butler’s temperature with Arcade Fire is over.

The American musician, bassist of the Canadian rock group, announced his departure on Twitter this Saturday, March 19th.

“Hello friends – I left Arcade Fire”, it begins in a discussion thread on the social network. “I’m part of it by the end of last year, once the new album is finished. There is no serious reason for this except that I have changed – and the group has changed – during the last 20 years. It’s time for new things “, continue it.

While working on his future creative projects, William Butler announced that he was working on a new record, composing the music for a piece by David Adjmi and planning performances for this season.

William Butler joined Arcade Fire at the end of 2003 after Brendan Reed’s departure. He contributed to all the albums since the first, in 2004, Burial. He contributed to the group’s next album, The Lightning I, IIwhich should leave on May 6th. In addition to Arcade Fire, William Butler and Sorti Trois Albums Solo.
