Barry’s Amusement Complex is set to reopen this Easter after being purchased by new owners.
The Curry family who run the Curry’s Fun Park, at Salthill Co Galway, have taken a long-term lease of the property, which is to be renamed the Curry’s Fun Park Portrush.
The popular Portrush attraction was first opened in 1926 by the Trufelli family and welcomes many generations through its doors.

Located along the pier at Portrush, Barry’s was widely recognized as Northern Ireland’s largest and longest running amusement park.
Last September, the family confirmed that Barry’s property had been sold and that the store would close.
The complex was marketed ‘To Let’ by Osborne King and McKibbin Commercial, and received significant interest from a number of owners in the leisure sector.

“It is important to note the incredible contribution that the Trufelli family has made not only to the city of Portrush, but to many people their vacations and memories over nearly 100 years.”
