Paulo Dybala has had no shortage of fans this summer with as many as six clubs all in the mix to sign him – with a Premier League giants reportedly the last to hold talks.
Dybala, 28, was one of the brightest strikers to offer European football for several seasons. Even though not one of the richest shooters in European football, the Argentine still has an impressive streak at Juventus, notching 112 and 282 matches. In addition, he also has 48 assists to his name, which means he has a goal contribution every 1.7 times he plays.
However, that record will likely stop this summer with Dybala possibly leaving as a free agent. A new contract has been in place for months without agreement.
In addition, the last round of contract talks between Dybala and his agent was postponed, which increased the chances of his departure.
Elo Juventus officials have confirmed that they expect Dybala to leave when the season ends..
It all makes for a very uncertain time for Dybala, who has been with Juve since 2015.
That said, he will have his choice of different sides this summer as he contemplates the next chapter in his career.
Likes like Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool were all named as strikers for the forwards. However, the most concrete Premier League interest came from Tottenham. Her interest in him has been widely reported for several months. And with Fabio Paratici and Antonio Conte knowing Dybala well, this is a link that ticks a lot of boxes.
However, several sources, including Gazzetta dello Sportnow claims that Arsenal are the last side to show interest.
Gunners need two new strikers
Mikel Arteta’s side need reinforcements in the last third with a summer of change on the horizon. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has already left – and Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette seem to be following him.
As such, reports state the Gunners wants to sign at least two strikers this summer.
The lovers of Alexander Isak, Rafael Leao and Dominic Calvert-Lewin are all connected. However, everything would cost well over £ 50m apiece. And while room for one of them to sign, even taking Dybala on a free would ease the pressure on Edu.
As such, the Gazzetta claims the Gunners’ technical director had talks with the game agent this week.
Although it is not known if a formal offer has been made, Edu apparently wants to decide first if the player would like to move to the Emirates Stadium.
Arteta’s side is mobile upwards, though the Champions League qualifiers will surely cement their prospects further.

Nevertheless, the Gunners look as if they have cut out their work in landing Dybala.
In fact, the 32-time capped Argentina striker seems more likely to sign for one of two other clubs first.
As such, the Gazzetta in the Tuttosport each place Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid as sides most likely to sign Dybala.
They report that both clubs have already held advanced talks with the players’ representatives about a move this summer.
Both sides also look well placed to offer players Champions League football, with Inter most likely on that front.
In addition, Dybala may not take his family away from the two clubs less than two hours apart on the road.
However, many believe that Dybala can look to try something new and consider moving strongly to Atletico.
They will free up space in their attack with Luis Suarez to leave this summer.
Athletics coach Diego Simeone knows Dybala well too, with many believing that this connection could be crucial.
