Fashion designer Michelle Smith and SoulCycle instructor Stacey Griffith join forces with Walmart in a line of active clothing and swimwear, the retail giant announced on Friday.
The Love & Sports brand is available on the company’s e-commerce site and is starting to roll out to 1,500 Walmart stores, the company said in a press release. Initial offerings include 121 women’s items, including shorts, sweatshirts, sports bras and swimwear, priced between $ 12 and $ 42.
Smith co-founded the Milly clothing brand and designed the dress Michelle Obama wore with her Portrait of the Smithsonian. Griffith, meanwhile, has a devoted following as an indoor cycling instructor. The couple met in a SoulCycle class.

The pandemic has increased active clothing purchases, and the category grew 37% in 2021, according to Incandela, citing NPD Group statistics.
