Dollar Tree manager posted sign against hiring Generation Z workers

A Dollar Tree manager is no longer in the company after posting a sign at a store in Bremen, Indiana, warning that he would not hire Generation Z workers. young workers would leave.

Citing privacy reasons, Dollar Tree did not disclose whether the employee, who was not identified, left voluntarily or was fired.

“Of course, we do NOT have a policy against hiring Generation Z workers. We do not do that at all,” Randy Guiler, vice president of investor relations for Dollar Tree, told CBS MoneyWatch in an email.
