A Dollar Tree manager is no longer in the company after posting a sign at a store in Bremen, Indiana, warning that he would not hire Generation Z workers. young workers would leave.

Citing privacy reasons, Dollar Tree did not disclose whether the employee, who was not identified, left voluntarily or was fired.
“Of course, we do NOT have a policy against hiring Generation Z workers. We do not do that at all,” Randy Guiler, vice president of investor relations for Dollar Tree, told CBS MoneyWatch in an email.
Generation Z members are people born between 1997 and 2012, or those who are now between 10 and 25 years old. More employers are turning to younger workers to fill their staff gaps, and teens last year experienced their best year of summer employment. since 1953.
