Amazon’s cheaper tablet is a little more expensive, but it promises longer battery life.
The latest versions of Amazon’s Fire 7 and Fire 7 Kids tablets are available for pre-order before the June 29 shipping date, the retail giant announced on Wednesday.
Costing $ 10 more than last-generation 2019 tablets, Alexa’s 7-inch 7-inch Fire 7 starts at $ 59.99 and comes in black, denim, and pink, with coordinated covers that have others $ 28.99 each. The Fire 7 Kids tablet is priced at $ 109.99 and comes in a child-proof case in blue, red and purple.

Both offer twice the RAM and 40% more battery life for up to 10 hours of continuous use, Amazon said.
A more affordable alternative to Apple’s iPad, which starts at $ 329 and can cost more than $ 1,000 for high-end models, Amazon tablets also offer Amazon another way to sell services like its assistant Alexa voice.
Fire 7 Kids includes a one-year subscription to Amazon Kids +, which gives them access to thousands of children’s books, movies, apps, and educational games. Subscriptions start at $ 2.99 a month, while a one-year family plan costs $ 69 for Amazon Prime members.
