Heathrow Airport has apologized to passengers affected by the recent disruptions but warned more flights could be canceled this summer.
Airlines were told last month to ensure their flight schedules were “deliverable” after the industry struggled to meet demand.
Chief Executive John Holland-Kaye said Heathrow will study the changes submitted by the airlines.
He added Heathrow would ask for “further action” “if necessary”.
