ClearCut Medical announced today that it has named Hezi Himelfarb as CEO.
Sky Color brings over 30 years of experience to the Israel-based portable MRI company. He was recently CEO of O2Cure, which developed blood oxygenators from ECMO surgery to artificial lungs. Himelfarb also served as General Manager and Chief Operating Officer at Microbot Medical, CEO of IceCure Medical and CEO of Remon Medical Technologies.
“The success of ClearCut so far has been driven by an incredibly strong team. As we prepare for the commercialization of our ClearCoast intraoperative MRI system, we are pleased to add the world-class Med-Tech executive who will lay the foundation for our future “Hezi’s experience in developing and commercializing innovative medical technologies in private and public companies is perfect for ClearCut,” said President Mike Berman in a press release. Commercialization environment will be an invaluable asset.
Skyline said he thinks ClearCut’s ClearCoast system is ready to make an impact on cancer surgery and clinical pathology.
