The first qualifying session of the Formula 1 season 2022 was terribly exciting, so it promises something for the next season. The pole position of Charles Leclerc, the disappointing Mercedes and the surprisingly strong performance of Kevin Magnussen and Haas were food for the creative minds on the internet. Of course, much is said about Leclerc’s pole position. It was Monegasque’s first pole position since qualifying for Monaco P1 last year, when he was unable to start the race.
Watch out for Bottas and Haas
There is also attention being paid to Valtteri Bottas, who seems to be able to compete with his former boss after being sent off by Mercedes. He starts on the same line as Lewis Hamilton, which gives both pilots a bit of a weird sensation.
The hatred is not forgotten either. While Guenther Steiner’s team struggled to get into Q2 once last year, return Kevin Magnussen made it effortlessly to Q3 and qualified his hatred for seventh place.
