Minister quits over Covid law-breaking at No 10

A Conservative colleague has resigned as Justice Secretary for breaching the Covid law at Downing Street.

It comes after Boris Johnson was fined for attending a lockdown-breaking party in No10.

In a letter to the Prime Minister, Lord David Wolfson criticized the “official response” to “repeated breaches of the rules”.

Barrister Lord Wolfson has been Secretary of Justice for Human Rights and the Constitution since 2020.
